Stiff laws on abuse: Muchinguri                                 Tinaani Nyabereka in Masvingo The Minister of Higher and Tertiary Education,Science andTechnology Development Oppah Muchinguri recently denounced the abuse of females following the murder of a Great Zimbabwe University (GZU) by culprits who allegedly raped her . Addressing college and university students at Masvingo Polytechnic College, Minister Muchinguri called the government to impose very heavy penalty on perpetrators by amending rape laws and increase the number of years they should stay in custody . Its high time government impose a heavy penalty ,even thirty year jail sentence to perpetrators of  abuse, to curb rising cases of rape;she acknowledged  .
