Cameroon Football Federation president Samuel Eto’o is reported to have threatened to fire Rigobert Song and his staff after the 3-1 defeat to Senegal. 

“Aren’t you ashamed of humiliating Cameroonians? I'm going to fire you! If you don’t do the job, I’ll fire you.. You are incapable of making the team play, " Eto'o said.

(Midlands Provincial Police spokesperson, Inspector E.Mahoko) By Munyaradzi Gurajena in Gweru Gweru-Police has noted with great concern surges in rape cases against women and children with most cases being perpetrated by either relatives or people known to the victims Observations indicate these rape cases occur at any time of the day both in urban and rural areas. They are committed by men usually trusted by victims. Some trusted people take advantage and rape vulnerable women and young children.  Some are claimed to be influenced by traditional beliefs, poverty or other factors.
